Payment options

At Go Prepared 4×4 and Camping, we offer various payment options. Our primary method of processing order payments is through manual bank EFT transfers. Opting for manual EFT transfer ensures faster processing and delivery of products. If you choose this payment method, our banking details will be provided in your order summary.

Please ensure to use your order number as the payment reference. It is your responsibility to add our correct banking details as a beneficiary on your internet or mobile banking app.

We also provide alternative payment options through PAYFAST and ZEROPAY.

Selecting any of the PAYFAST payment options or the ZEROPAY option may result in a slightly longer processing and delivery time. Orders processed via PAYFAST or ZEROPAY payment methods may take between 4 to 7 working days before being collected by the courier.

Your order summary at checkout will indicate if some products qualify for free delivery. If there is no delivery cost added at checkout, it means those selected products come with free delivery.

Please be aware that stock levels may not always update automatically. If a product appears to be in stock and you proceed with payment, but it is actually out of stock, we will offer you the choice of a refund or waiting until the product becomes available again. For products on special promotion, there may be an additional balance payable if you choose to wait for the item to be restocked, as there could be a price increase or the promotion may have ended.

 

Deliveries

Delivery

Once your payment clears into our account, we will arrange for the courier to collect your order. Once your order is collected, we will provide you with your waybill tracking information. Please note that online tracking may not immediately register. It can take several hours after receiving your waybill information to track your order.

When receiving your order, please inspect the packaging while the delivery driver is still present. Note any damage to the packaging and take photos if necessary. If the contents of your order are damaged, this step will facilitate our claims process if the damage was caused by the courier.

Courier collections occur once a day, Monday to Friday. If your order is processed after the day’s collection has been made, it will be collected on the next business day. No collections are made on weekends or public holidays. We are unable to accommodate specific delivery times, as each courier has its own schedule and routes.

Depending on product availability and stock, our products may be dispatched from any of our supporting warehouses across South Africa. Our delivery services are currently limited to South Africa, unless alternative arrangements have been made and are feasible.

Back order products

Back order products and special orders

When a product shows as being on back order, this indicates that it is either an item manufactured upon order, the new stock may be nearing availability, or we arrange a special order for the product on your behalf. For products marked as back order, the delivery and manufacturing times may vary. Please get in touch with us so that we can provide you with a delivery/manufacturing estimate.

Warranties

Product warranties

All products sold by Go Prepared 4×4 and Camping come with the supplier or manufacturer’s warranty specific to each product.

If you encounter a problem or fault with a product, please contact us. We will initiate a possible warranty claim case and liaise with the supplier or manufacturer to determine the best course of action to address your concerns and ensure your satisfaction. Please be aware that for certain products, the buyer will be responsible for covering the cost of returning the item via courier.

We strongly recommend that customers that purchased products that require complex fitting or installation have it carried out by reputable and approved fitment centres. Failure to do so may affect warranty claims to not be valid.

Returns and Cancelations

Returns and order cancelations

We strongly advise our shoppers and customers to ensure that the products they order are suitable for their intended application. We are more than willing to assist anyone in understanding our products and selecting the best options for their needs.

If you wish to cancel an order, you can only do so if it has not yet been collected by the courier. Please note that cancelled orders not yet collected by the courier may take up to 7 working days for your refund to be processed. Additionally, there may be return courier costs incurred by you for returning the products, as well as cancellation fees applicable.

If a client wishes to return a product within 7 days from receiving it and the product is still in working condition, without any faults, repair or warranty issues on the specific product, a 30% handling fee will be charged for the buyer / returner. This fee covers the administrative costs associated with processing the return. Additionally, the client / buyer will be responsible for arranging and covering the courier costs for returning a product that has no faults. The product should be in its original packaging and damage free. These policies ensure that returns are managed efficiently while also accounting for the costs involved in processing a return refund where there is no fault on the product. Only once a product is returned to our supplier or manufacturer and assess by them, valid qualifying refunds will be paid out.

Go Prepared 4×4 and Camping, as well as our suppliers or manufacturers, do not accept any responsibility for ANY injuries, losses, or damages resulting from the use of our products. We strongly recommend that customers that purchased products that require complex fitting or installation have it carried out by reputable and approved fitment centres. Failure to do so may affect warranty claims to not be valid. Lastly please note that we use the product information, specifications, details as well as images from the product manufacturers or suppliers. Although we try our utmost best to portray the correct information and images, there might be instances where we receive the wrong information. There could be instances where a product has a different colour or the wrong specifications.
